Life, A Gift from God
Life, A Gift from God
Life is God’s precious gift to us. Life is short. Thank God for giving us a wonderful life and for each new day that He gives us. Live life to the fullest. Live like it’s the last day of your life. What you can do today, do it now-for only God knows when’s our last. Never tell your neighbor to wait until tomorrow if you can help him now. Being lazy will make you poor, but hard work will make you rich.
God had given us Antonello Joseph Sarte Perez, a good man who had served as an inspiration to everyone. But God took him away from us for he had completed his mission already. Now he’s together with our Father in Heaven. He had been good to all. His sweet smile makes a day of one complete.
I am only a simple fan of AJ but I cannot accept the truth that my idol, my crush and my inspiration’s gone. Last April 16 was the first and last time he tried to answer all the tweets of his fans. He said in his tweets that he dreamed of having children like Will Smith and to be a great basketball player. He was asked if “10 years from now what would you be?” and he replied, “10 years from now I’m 28, maybe an accomplished actor.” Too sad that he’ll no longer have these dreams be fulfilled. The most memorable tweet I’ve read was when someone asked him if “What’s your best asset?” and he said, “My killah smile..haha.” That was the last tweet I read from him. It was late in the evening already. Then suddenly, after an hour, there came the accident. Many were shocked. I’m one of those. I didn’t believed so I look for a proof. I was very sad the whole day but at the end of the day I realized that, “I’m only a fan but I’m very sad and I almost cried, how much more his loved ones. We, the fans should show our support for his family.”
“A wise son pays attention when his father corrects him.”
AJ had been a great son. His dad, Gerardo Perez was always on his side to guide him in all the trials and challenges that came to his life. Even on his last breath, he was with his father. It was the reason why his dad’s very sad because he was there beside him but he cannot do anything. I can feel the sadness his dad’s into. My papa told me when he also heard the news, “Your parents are sadder when you’re sad and happier when you’re happy. We are very proud for your every achievement but when you’re down, your parents are your comforter. When you’re in danger, we’ll make sure that you will never be harmed. I would rather die than to see you die.”
“Teach a child how he should live, and he will remember it all his life.”
To the parents of AJ, I salute you for raising him as a true man, a religious, approachable and friendly person.
It’s really good to know that he is loved by everyone. I never heard any criticism or negative issues about him. But, it’s sad that his followers on twitter and Facebook increased when he was already gone. It’s true that you’ll only know one’s importance when he’s gone.
Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses. He sets the time for birth and the time for death; the time for sorrow and time for joy; the time for mourning and the time for dancing.
I know the heavy burdens God laid on us. He has set the right time for everything. All we can do is be happy and do the best we can while we are still alive.
-Ecclesiastes 11:9-12:8
No one knows when the day of our death will come-only the Father knows. Be on watch, be alert for you do not know when the time will come. Show your love to the important persons in your life because you may regret when it was already gone away from you.
With AJ’s death, we mourn & grieve for he was well-loved by us because he has lived by doing good things to others. We must learn to spend our time doing good in order to provide for real needs. Like what Mr. Ogie Diaz said, I also wish that there would be a person that has same personalities like AJ. May Antonello Joseph Sarte Perez be an inspiration to all of us.
